Some people find their way to this work through academia. I found mine through trauma, BDSM, and a Kundalini awakening that tore my reality open.

Sure, I have credentials (listed below) — but what really shaped this work is everything I lived through to get here.

I carried early sexual trauma into my teens and twenties without language for what I was holding. The body finds ways to metabolize what hasn't been named yet. Mine metabolized it as addiction, dissociation, self-destruction.

In my early thirties I tried to outrun it. I built something that looked stable and respectable from the outside. I was very good at performing competence. Inside I was burning out.

I entered the world of BDSM looking for control. What I found was something more useful — that real psychological transformation was happening through ritual, power exchange, fantasy & archetype. I started understanding what I was doing as shamanic. As a way of moving energy and integrating the parts of the self that had been exiled.

That understanding opened a door.

Then a spontaneous Kundalini surge dismantled the version of me I'd spent years constructing. What came after were years of deep immersion into Jungian depth psychology, somatic trauma work, mysticism, death and grief work. I rebuilt my inner life on foundations that were more honest, more embodied, more mine.

Out of that integration, this work emerged.
